The water heater – Eberspächer D5W – works independently of the engine and thus offer comfortable temperature at passenger compartments and warm water when the engine is stopped. The maximum heat output is 5000 watts. The D5W works on diesel from the boats fuel tank. Our installation is integrated with the water cooling system of the engine, and the engine will supply the heating water when running.
Installation on S/Y Romar include two Eberspächer Helios defrosters and a 0.5 m radiator.
