Not exactly spring in the air, but departure from Bergen is May 1st, and major outfitting is necessary. Departed from Maurset Friday morning. Picked up three 100 AH LiFePO4 batteries at Makspower in Sandvika before I went out on Lindøya to start working on S/Y Romar.
During the weekend I also mounted sonar (Raymarine CP100 with CP120 bronze transduser), AIS (Raymarine AIS650) and VHF (Raymarine Ray60).
Romar will be launched during the weekend after Easter (April 22 to 23). Polishing and applying antifouling have to be completed before launching. Take on these tasks just after Easter.
